Larch Clears Stone Wall
I love this photo of Larch. She appears so undaunted and so driven to do her job.

Larch
Jane Pappler captured this amazing shot of Larch when we visited England together in 2012.

At a working test.
Larch delivers a dummy to breeder, owner, handler Chrissie Mayhew at a working test in England. Note: in working tests in the UK, dummies are used in place of birds. But, Larch has delivered hundreds of birds to Chrissie during their "day job" picking up pheasants.

Larch's Dam, Arnac Bay Pride
Just for a sense of what is behind Larch, here is a photo of Larch's dam, Pride. I met Pride when she was already 12 years old. At that age, she was still perfectly sound and moved effortlessly. All of the dogs on Chrissie Mayhew's working team descend from Pride and her legacy is strong. This photo appeared in the Shooting Gazette in the UK.

Water Entry
Another gem that really captures what Larch is all about.
Once again, photo credit goes to the magnificent Sue Worrall, Watersplash.

Having fun in the U.S.
Several days after her arrival in the U.S., Larch got to spend a morning training on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Photo credit: Sue Worrall.

Larch in the Dunes
Shortly after arriving in the U.S., Larch spent three weeks camping with us on Ocracoke Island, North Carolina. We think this time away with the whole "family" cemented her sense of belonging in our pack. She had a blast in the sand and sea!
