"Jessie" BISS GCH CH* Chestnut Hills Windjammer SH is a young dog that has earned his Junior Hunter title and his show championship prior to his second birthday. Just a few weeks after his second birthday, he earned his first group placement at an American Chesapeake Club Supported Show. He's bred and owned by Karen and Ron Anderson of Chestnut Hills Kennel in Monrovia, Maryland. The Andersons have consistently bred exceptional Chesapeakes since the early 1970's. Karen shared this about Jessie:
"Jessie was the smallest of three males born from frozen semen by Ch Chestnut Hills James Bowie CC, JH CGC out of Ch Chestnut Hills Victoria. All three of those pups were outgoing. They made games out of things. For instance, they found a board laying across some stuff behind the kennel and used it as a teeter totter. They would run up one end and make it drop and then repeat it again. They were very busy. Jessie has a lovey personality, likes people and gets along with other dogs. When he was 5 months old, Kathy Luthy (Chesapeake Breeder and Trainer at Rippling Waters Chesapeakes) was in Maryland and we sent him to Florida for her to train for the field. I ran him in hunt tests last fall and he earned his JH. We plan on his returning to Kathy for more training."
In the Fall of 2014, Jessie was awarded Best in Sweepstakes at the American Chesapeake Club Supported Entry at The Kennel Club of Philadelphia by longtime Chesapeake fancier, Judge Darren Sausser. And, in February of 2015, Jessie was named Winners Dog and Best of Winners by Judge Dyane Baldwin at The Westminster Kennel Club.
